Introducing Sound Space Collective

If you’ve been part of this community, you may notice a new name: Sound Space Collective.

Sound Space is an evolution of what was previously known as the Sound Youth Neurodiversity Collective (SYNC). While the name has changed, the heart of this work remains the same.

This space was created out of a need for something different—something more thoughtful, more collaborative, and more aligned with how we understand neurodiversity, development, and support.

Sound Space is not a clinic. It is a collective.

A space where independent providers, families, and community members can connect around a shared commitment to:

  • neurodiversity-affirming care

  • relationship-centered support

  • clinical integrity and humility

  • collaboration over hierarchy

Over time, it became clear that this work extends beyond pediatrics. What began as a

child-focused collective has grown into something broader; supporting individuals across

the lifespan, as well as the providers and systems that surround them.

The name Sound Space reflects that growth. It represents:

  • space for different ways of thinking and being

  • space for families navigating complex systems

  • space for providers seeking alignment and community

  • space for conversations that move beyond labels and toward understanding

Whether you are a parent, provider, or community member, this space is here to support

connection, clarity, and meaningful next steps.

I’m glad you’re here.
